Municipal treasurers have many responsibilities and face many challenges in today’s difficult economic conditions. This half-day workshop will provide treasurers with the basic tools they need to address the day-to-day issues that arise to best serve taxpayers and to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Whether you are newly elected to the position or have served for a number of years, you will come away from this workshop with a better understanding of your job. Even experienced treasurers will benefit from the special session on current Internal Revenue Service developments in payroll and information reporting.
Registration/Cancellation deadline is April 19, 2011. Registrations received (either by mail or on-line) after this date should include an extra $10.00 per person.
For a full refund, please cancel in writing by the registration deadline. Please note that, for your convenience, you may pre-register without paying. However, if you do not attend the workshop, and have not cancelled your registration in writing or via email by the deadline, you will be billed for the full cost of the workshop.
Cancellation for events, even for sickness, that comes after the deadline cannot be refunded because VLCT will have already incurred all the costs for attendance including space rental, meal guarantees and packet generation. In this case, please feel free to send an alternate attendee in your place.
