The Local Water Quality Protection Workshop offers participants a chance to hear about and discuss some of the timeliest water quality issues facing municipal officials this year. The workshop will provide a dynamic mix of science, engineering, planning, and policy, presented by state, municipal, and private sector water quality professionals. Session topics include river corridor and flood plan protection, engineering techniques for stormwater control, protecting water quality through development review, and watershed planning. Local officials involved in the planning and development review process and municipal infrastructure management should attend this workshop.
The deadline for registration is January 18, 2007. Please note that, for your convenience, you may preregister without paying. However, if you do not attend the workshop, and have not canceled your registration in writing by the deadline, you will be billed for the full cost of the workshop.
Directions to the Montpelier Elks' Lodge: Take Exit 8 off Interstate 89. Exit ramp will merge with Route 2. Follow Route 2; at junction with Route 302, stay left. Almost immediately turn left onto Country Club Drive (across from the Agway Home and Garden Center).
