The VLCT Health Trust, Inc. was formed in 1982 to allow municipalities to offer quality health insurance to their employees at group rates.
The Trust purchases group medical insurance from CIGNA. Members of the Trust can also participate in other Trust programs: Group Life and Disability, Dental, Vision, Long Term Care, Cafeteria Plan, COBRA Administration, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Wellness programs including the Wellness Leader are available to members through VLCT's Safety and Health Promotion division.
