Long-Term Care Insurance

VLCT's Group Long-Term Care Program is available to member municipalities that wish to incorporate it into their benefit program, to help their employees avoid financial difficulty and remain productive on the job.

An aging population is driving the need for long-term care insurance, as are changes in federal policy that have shifted the burden of long-term care costs from the government to individuals and their families. Unum Life Insurance Company of America underwrites this insurance for VLCT.
