The VLCT PACIF Workers' Compensation Program provides coverage for any claim for a municipal employee who is injured in the course of his or her employment. Common injuries are caused by lifting heavy objects, slips/trips and falls, cuts and bruises, pulled muscles, etc., all occurring during the workday.
Every workplace injury should be reported immediately, both by the injured employee to his or her supervisor and as soon as possible after that by the employer to PACIF. The employer files the report by opening the First Report of Injury form (using the link below or the orange button on our Claim Reporting and Insurance Forms page), filling in all of the required fields, and pressing Submit.
