Vermont’s Constitution requires that all government officers are accountable to the public, and the State’s Open Meeting Law implements this requirement.
To help local officials understand and comply with the Open Meeting Law, the Municipal Assistance Center provides our municipal members with training and written resources that include up-to-date changes in the Law made by the State Legislature or courts. MAC attorneys also respond to member inquiries about the Open Meeting Law.
To ask a question or schedule training, email: email@example.com, or call 800-649-7915.
