The Town of Gouldsboro, Maine, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Town Manager. Located in down-east Maine with several harbors and miles of shoreline, Gouldsboro has a Selectmen/Town Meeting/Town Manager form of government, a year-round population of 1,800, a municipal budget of $2 million, and 17 FT/PT employees.
The Board is seeking a candidate with strong administrative, leadership, managerial and collaborative skills and ability, and education and training in municipal management or a related field. The Board is also seeking an individual with financial management and budgeting skills, personnel management experience, project management experience, and strong communication skills with a customer service orientation. Experience with waterfront issues and economic development desirable. Municipal experience is a plus, however candidates with comparable work and management experience are encouraged to apply.
Salary negotiable based on experience and training.
