Join us in person on March 25 or participate in the Zoom Q&A on March 30.
Attending this online option of our annual training for new and returning selectboard members gives you an overview of the important basics you need to know right away. The session will be dedicated to a Q&A about the four on-demand trainings prepared by MAC staff attorneys. After you register, you’ll receive the following videos:
- Selectboard Roles and Responsibilities (topics include legal authority and relationship with town employees and other elected and appointed officers)
- Open Meeting Law
- Public Records Act Overview
- Managing Conflicts of Interest
Attendees will receive access to these four videos in advance via email following registration.
