USDA Rural Development in Vermont is calling for applications from non-profits and public-body entities seeking financing to improve essential community infrastructure.
The Community Facilities Loan & Grant Program funds projects to build, upgrade and improve crucial community structures like hospitals, schools and food distribution centers. The Water & Waste Disposal Loan & Grant Program helps rural communities build essential infrastructure to ensure clean and reliable drinking water systems, sanitary sewage disposal, sanitary solid waste disposal and storm water drainage.
The deadlines to apply are December 18, 2020 (for the less competitive state funding pool) and April 16, 2021 (for the more competitive national funding pool).
