Ione helps staff communicate with members by editing, writing, and proofreading for a variety of formats including VLCT News, vlct.org, emails, mailings, presentations, and more. Her path into marketing started, oddly enough, with studies in ancient and foreign languages, wended its way through graphic design and resume writing, and circled around for several years in technical writing and document library management. She genuinely enjoys making difficult concepts easier to understand and working in close coordination with the rest of VLCT's Communications and Marketing team.
Fun Fact: Old enough to recall the term “desktop publishing,” Ione still enjoys hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and hauling and stacking firewood. She also wants people to know how to pronounce both parts of her name: “eeOHnee MYnut.”
