Ione helps Risk Management Services staff communicate with members through a combination of editing, writing, and arranging information in a variety of forms, including newsletter content, brochures, presentations, signs, and more. Ione participated in the development of VLCT’s 2017 website and genuinely enjoys making difficult concepts easier to understand. Her path into marketing started, oddly enough, with studies in ancient and foreign languages, then wended its way through graphic design and resume writing, and circled around for several years in technical writing and document library management.
Fun Fact: Old enough to recall the term “desktop publishing,” Ione still enjoys hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and hauling and stacking firewood. She also wants people to know how to pronounce both parts of her name: “eeOHnee MYnit.”
