Present: Barre Town Assistant Manager Elaine Wang, St. Albans Planning Commissioner Al Voegele, Essex Town Deputy Manager Marguerite Ladd, Killington Town Clerk Lucrecia Wonsor, VLCT Executive Director Ted Brady
The meeting was called to order at 3:17 p.m. with the arrival of Elaine Wang, chair.
The nominating committee reviewed the four applications/nominations received in March 2022. The committee unanimously supported recommending all four candidates: Kathleen Ramsay, Town Manager of Middlebury, Charles Keir, Assistant Fire Chief of Brattleboro, Cate Cross, Selectboard Vice Chair of Shelburne, and Alyssa Johnson, Selectboard Member of Waterbury. In addition, Al Voegele asked the committee to consider Donna Toneatti, the Community Program Facilitator for the Abenaki Nation of Missisquoi. The committee unanimously recommended Ms. Toneatti on the condition of receiving an application before the next Equity Committee (April 18th).
The meeting adjourned at 3:53 p.m.
