The VLCT Property And Casualty Intermunicipal Fund (PACIF) is the leading provider of Property/Casualty and Workers' Compensation coverage to Vermont municipal entities. Since it began offering coverage in January 1987, PACIF has grown from 27 founding members to 324 current members. 

PACIF provides extensive coverage for losses to member municipalities for property damage, auto accidents, injured employees, public official liability, and employment practices liability. These coverages are designed and implemented by VLCT's in-house Underwriting and Claims teams and include many benefits not available elsewhere. In addition, PACIF members can — and should! — make full use of our Loss Control team, which identifies and helps implement policy and safety strategies to prevent claims from occurring in the first place.
