Move-In Vermont is a new program offered by Vermont State Housing Authority that places attractive, factory-built single-family homes on build-ready lots in residential neighborhoods across Vermont.

This program will produce high-quality and attractive factory-built single-family homes expected to sell for about $250,000 to $325,000, depending on size and land costs. Through this Request for Information (RFI) form, they are seeking municipal and nonprofit partners with vacant build-ready lots for the installation of these homes.

Download the RFI available here and consider whether you have lots that might qualify for the program. If so, please complete one of the forms linked in the RFI. For this first round of homes, they are prioritizing lots within the circles identified on this map: https://tinyurl.com/Move-In-VT-Map . But they are open to considering lots in nearby locations.

On Tuesday, May 26, at 10 a.m., they will be holding a webinar to discuss the program and answer questions. For more information and to register, visit this link.

Please send questions to Move-In-VT@vsha.org. They will try to answer all questions received by Friday, May 22 during the May 26 webinar. They will respond to questions on a rolling basis thereafter.

To sign up for updates about the program, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/9gxajzyKSFwMviGr9 . You can also see the latest program info on the website MoveInVT.org .

Responses to the RFI are due by Friday, June 12 at 5 pm. ET.

In addition to this RFI focusing on municipal and nonprofit partners, they also have a separate RFI focused on private individuals who may wish to be "part of the solution" by donating land for purposes of siting a home. That RFI, which is available here, is limited to residents within one of the shaded areas on this map: https://tinyurl.com/Move-In-VT-Map. These include residents of these towns:
