(In towns using Australian ballot) All early voter absentee ballots returned in the following manner before the polls close on election day must be counted: by any means to the clerk’s office before the close of business on the day preceding the election; by being dropped in a secure ballot drop box before the close of business on day before election; by mail to the clerk’s office before the close of the polls on the day of the election; and by hand delivery to the presiding officer at the voter’s polling place before 7 p.m.
