Effective Facilitation Training in May or June, 2025
Are you a local Emergency Management Team member who would like to facilitate better meetings? Consider registering for Effective Facilitation May 28-30 in Waterbury or June 10-12 in Newfane. Don’t have a Learning Management System account? Please request a free account.
Each of these facilitation trainings is a 2.5-day course that provides students with instruction and practice on facilitation techniques and meeting design, with a specific focus on facilitating Emergency Management meetings, trainings, and emergency exercises in both a physical and virtual environment. This training is being held twice, in different locations: May 28-30 in Waterbury and June 10-12 in Newfane. Local government officials and staff have signup priority until two weeks before the event.

Registration is in the State Learning Management System. You will automatically be put on a waitlist when registering.
- Go to the lower right-hand corner of the screen where it says "View Details".
- Hit the down arrow.
- Select "Add to Waitlist".
- You will receive an email stating that you are on the waitlist.
- You will receive another email when you are taken off the waitlist and registered for the class.
