VLCT is happy to announce a new way to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of everyone who serves in Vermont's municipalities. Each Years of Service pin not only shows how long the wearer has served in local government (so far) – it also demonstrates a strong commitment to their community.
If you have been a Vermont local official (elected or appointed) or staff member for at least ten years, just let us know the year you started, and we’ll give you a Years of Service pin. We're launching this program at Town Fair 2025: when you register to attend, provide the year you started in local government, and your pin will be ready when you arrive at the event.
We hope you'll wear yours proudly – and get a new one at every five-year mark.
