Annually, each of Vermont's 12 Regional Development Corporations (RDCs), in cooperation with their partner Regional Planning Commissions (RPCs), solicit economic and community development projects that will bolster or help transform a region's economy. Each region then selects 10 of the projects as priorities and includes them on their region's Regional Priority Project list. The lists are used by federal, state, and regional entities to understand the funding needs of the region when they make investments. Projects identified in the lists may support business retention and expansion, create programs that encourage job creation and workforce development, expand access to high-speed broadband, and implement new or innovative economic development practices.
Each region's Regional Priority Project list is updated twice a year for submission to the State in May and December. The table below provides information about each region's solicitation process. If a region's submission deadline is not listed, please contact that region to request information about their application process.
