You are cordially invited to attend the next International Network for Asian Public Administrators' (I-NAPA’s) Inspire Inclusion web series event, Partnering to Serve Ethnic Communities, on April 21. Many municipalities around the United States have little, if any, experience serving ethnic communities. I-NAPA is pleased to have three practitioners who have done so to share their experience and insight. This virtual series studies the intersectionality of our sexual, gender and racial identities as LGBTQIA+ public servants, and how the different facets of our experience shape the way we serve.

I-NAPA's Inspire Inclusion web series is open to anyone and free to attend.

CivicPRIDE is an ICMA-affiliated organization and the first nationally recognized LGBTQIA+ professional association for local government management. Their mission is to advance inclusive local government by empowering LGBTQIA+ leadership.

CivicPRIDE’s series Stories of Pride elevates queer voices to discuss their experiences as an LGBTQIA+ public servant. These stories can be uplifting and demonstrate community acceptance of the speaker’s identity, showcase difficulties that a speaker has faced and where they have found strength to press on, or how they’ve met challenges in their careers and communities. CivicPRIDE’s goal is to create a platform to discuss these experiences, the intersectionality of sexual, gender, and racial identities as LGBTQIA+ public servants, and how the different facets of your experience shape the way you serve.
