More than 80 VLCT members and supporters participated in the Vermont Local Officials Golf Outing on June 28 at Killington’s Green Mountain National Golf Course, Vermont’s only municipally-owned 18-hole golf course. Thanks to the generous support of the golf outing’s sponsors, VLCT raised more than $5,000 for the newly launched Municipal Service Scholarship program, which will be administered by VSAC. The first $2,000 scholarship will be awarded at next year’s golf outing.
Despite the forecast, we got in 18 holes and lunch with only a brief sprinkle. Those who walked away with more than $1,000 in prizes included:
