Katie Buckley
Municipal Operations Support
Katie Buckley oversees VLCT’s Municipal Operations Support department. She arrived at VLCT in 2021 with unique qualifications for being the lead staff member for helping members use and comply with federal funds available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the Infrastructure and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Katie spent nearly a decade in municipal service as a town administrator and treasurer. She has also held leadership roles in real estate development with a focus on affordable housing and adaptive reuse of historic buildings and has hands-on experience with community trusts, community supported enterprises, and village revitalization. She is a former Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development and is the current Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Vermont Housing Finance Agency.
